From our house to yours, we hope you're having a joyous Christmas with your family! We have enjoyed it very much this year, as we see everything through Greta's eyes. We let her open 3 gifts on Christmas eve throughout the day and she got to play with them in between. We took a self- portrait of the family just before we headed to Christmas Eve candlelight service- where Greta made sure everyone there could hear that she knows what a star is and that she likes to be 'down!' Then today, she got to open the rest of them all at once. Of course, some of the most fun was playing in the pile of wrapping paper afterwards! More pictures and video to come someday hopefully soon! This Christmas, it would be easy for us to let the sad events in our lives take over, but instead we have chosen to be thankful for everything we have in our lives! We have the support of each other, our beautiful daughter and a healthy little baby boy on the way, we have a plethora of family and friends that we love dearly, and that's so much more than so many people have! We are putting things into God's hands, as only he knows his plan for us. I know that we wouldn't be going through any of this if He didn't think we could handle it!
