I can't believe Alexander is already one month old... plus a few days! It seems as though we hardly know his personality since he sleeps constantly... but his growth sure explains why that is: he is now around 12 1/2 pounds and 23 inches long!! The past few days he's been having more awake time so we've heard his voice more and seen lots of smiles! Wow, does that melt your heart or what... there's nothing quite like that toothless grin. He's definitely a strong guy though- he rolled from his belly to his back for the first time at 4 days and loves to sit up and see everything. His neck control is surprisingly good considering how big he is :0)
Greta is still enjoying being the big sister helper- she loves to make sure he has his 'blue' or 'green' which are his pacifiers. This has become her way to make sure she doesn't hear that horrible crying sound... or just to do something to interact with him. She frequently asks to 'hold it' but quickly tires of that and pushes him away. Greta loves to give hugs and kisses to everyone, and her little brother is no exception! Chad and I see that she'll keep that big old personality of hers, but Alec will be much bigger in size- all the better to chase away the boys from his big sister (or so Dad thinks!)
